It is that belief that inspired Alijawad Peera to found CuriosityQuest, a student-led initiative dedicated to making STEM education engaging, accessible, and exciting for young learners. With a mission to inspire curiosity and foster a lifelong love of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, CuriosityQuest is helping students discover that learning extends beyond the classroom.
Guided by its motto, "Expanding access to STEM education throughout the community," the organization creates opportunities for elementary and middle school students to explore STEM topics through interactive workshops, educational resources, and community events.
Since its founding, CuriosityQuest has partnered with local libraries and community organizations to host hands-on STEM workshops that have reached hundreds of young students. From exciting experiments to engaging demonstrations, each event is designed to make STEM approachable, creative, and fun!
The organization's impact extends beyond in-person events. Through its "5 Minutes of STEM" initiative, CuriosityQuest publishes weekly educational content that introduces students to fascinating scientific concepts in a format that is both accessible and engaging.
As the initiative has grown, so has its community. CuriosityQuest has built a network of dedicated student volunteers and community partners who share a common goal of expanding access to STEM education. The organization is also opening new CuriosityQuest chapters and events, allowing its mission to reach even more communities around the world.
